GET TO KNOW THE DOCTOR
TELL ME A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR EDUCATION AND HOW YOU BECAME A DOCTOR.
I’m a board certified family medicine doctor with a focus on integrative and emergency medicine. I received my medical doctorate at the University of Michigan and completed my family practice residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. In 2009, I completed my integrative medical training from the University of Arizona under Andrew Weil, M.D. Integrative Medicine is healing-oriented medicine that takes account of the whole person (body, mind, and spirit), including all aspects of lifestyle. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship and makes use of all appropriate therapies, both conventional and alternative.
I feel grateful to have also received numerous honors including “Resident of the Year” from Georgia Academy of Family Physicians and the Thomas C. Davies Family Practice Award from the University of Michigan.
